East Midlands Strategic Plan 2008-2011 (PDF)
Developed in consultation with regional tourism stakeholders, EMT’s new strategic plan aims to build on the success of the 2005-8 corporate plan and increase the impact of the region’s visitor economy, now worth £5.9 billion. Growing and improving the region’s skills base, increasing investment and delivering marketing campaigns that demonstrate a proven return on investment are just some of the key priorities identified in the strategic plan

Tourism Investment Plan 2007/8 (PDF)
Tourism Investment is a core priority in East Midlands Tourism’s Strategic Plan 2008 – 2011. It focuses on improving the infrastructure of the visitor offer in the region. In 2007/8, a Tourism Investment Plan was developed working closely with key stakeholders. The plan contains guiding principles for those interested in developing the East Midlands visitor economy.
