EMT Business Barometers
To understand the challenges and opportunities facing tourism businesses, EMT introduced a barometer survey of tourism businesses in 2009 to see how individual sectors are performing at critical holiday periods.
The aim of the survey is to get an overview of the general state of tourism business in the East Midlands on a quarterly basis. This includes looking at areas such as forward bookings and the commitment being made to invest in areas such as staff training and marketing.
