Running a tourism business can be an exciting and challenging prospect. From finance, marketing, accessibility and sustainability to legal issues, there are lots of things to think about.

However, help is on hand from a number of different organisations. Business Link offers a wide range of services including a free health check, training and workshops, information on developing people, and adopting new technologies.

The region’s five Destination Management Partnerships also run a range of courses and events throughout the year covering everything from marketing and e-commerce to food and drink.

East Midlands Tourism has also developed a guide, Let’s Talk Growth and Survival, which draws on advice and hints from the business community.
