The region’s five Destination Management Partnerships offer a range of marketing opportunities in the UK to tourism business, from exposure on consumer websites, marketing in official destination visitor guides to participation in marketing campaigns and access to research data.

Overseas Marketing is managed by East Midlands Tourism. The key target markets for 2010 are The Netherlands, Germany and France. The current campaigns are being run under the banner ‘The most English part of England’ and promote the region’s heritage, cities, culture and outdoors using mainly online marketing channels.
